Waste and recycling: the market for waste treatment was estimated in 2010 to be 646 million euros; the waste management market reported more than 7.6 billion euros in revenue; Brazil’s domestic waste-collection market is estimated at more than 7 billion reais (close to 3 billion euros), with more than 60% of the market concentrated in the Southeast region alone.

Water: full access to sewage treatment, an essential priority: the average annual investment in sewage disposal is close to US$4.5 billion, and through 2030 total investments of US$210 billion will be necessary to achieve this goal.
